This year at EHX 2012 in Orlando, Leon is proud to partner with the premier manufacturers of custom installed, theater-grade products, marking our entry into the dedicated theater market. For the first time in a controlled setting, Leon will be demonstrating the all new Vault Series v631i, a 3-way in-wall speaker design that was built from the ground up for performance, power handling, and usability. But what is a reference grade theater without thunderous bass? We are excited to also demonstrate our brand new theater-grade subwoofer that features active 10” front-firing and passive 10” down-firing woofers to deliver deep, controlled, distortion-free bass. With Leon’s compact designs, hand-crafted build quality and multiple custom options, any room can be easily transformed into an exhilarating theater experience. Vault Series v631i: The Leon v631i, together with the all new Aaros A10-TSUB, marks Leon’s entry into the dedicated theater market. Designed from the ground up for performance, power handling, and usability, the v631 and A10-TSUB are ideal loudspeakers for even the largest theaters. While optimized for in-wall front soundstage reproduction, the v631i in-wall speakers also function well in surround sound and custom-cabinetry applications, delivering theater-grade dynamic sound via its three-way, fully-sealed design. SEAS woofers and midrange drivers combine with a Morel horn-loaded tweeter for a frequency response of 74-20kHz, power handling of 500W, and maximum output in excess of 105dB. Shootouts? You’ll duck and cover. A hushed whisper? They’ll do that too—with an alacritous clarity. Of course, the Vault v631i is first and foremost a Leon. Available in any finish, with perforated metal or stretched fabric grills. Aaros Series A10-TSUB: Reference grade theaters demand reference grade bass. Developed in tandem with the Vault v631i, the Leon Aaros A10-TSUB is remarkably compact at just 18 1/2” x 16 1/4” x 14 5/8” (HWD). Featuring active 10” front-firing and passive 10” down-firing woofers, the A10-TSUB delivers deep, controlled, and distortion-free bass for an exhilarating theater experience. Paired with Leon’s L3-1K amplifier, the A10-TSUB is capable of low-frequency extension to 18Hz—pressurizing the entire room so you’ll feel every bullet, every impact, and every sinister footfall. The A10-TSUB is ideally suited to both in-room and in-cabinet theater subwoofer applications.
